Sambal Belacan





50gm roasted shrimp paste
3 fresh red chillies
3 fresh green chillies
20 - 25 green bird's eye chillies (with stems)
5 red bird's eye chillies
5 large calamansi limes
2 tsp tamarind pulp mix with 3 tbsp water
2 tbsp sugar ( can add more as per preference)
1/2 tsp salt (can add more as per preference)

Grind everything coarsely using a mixer. Refrigerate and use as required.
