Butter Chocolate Cheese Cake










Ingredients A
250gm butter
160gm castor sugar
4 eggs
170gm flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking powder
15gm cocoa powder
15gm grated dark chocolate
5 tbsp evaporated milk or fresh milk

Ingredients B
160g castor sugar
60gm castor sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp evaporated milk or fresh milk


In a bowl, sieve the dry ingredients A (flour, baking powder, cocoa powder). Keep aside. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy then add in the egg, one by one and beat to combine before adding another. Then add in vanilla essence. In low speed, mix in the flour with the evaporated milk alternatively. Add in the grated chocolate as well. Once well combine, keep aside. 

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 160 C. 

In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until soft and fluffy. Add in vanilla essence, cornflour and evaporated milk. Keep aside.

In a well-greased large bundt pan, pour half of the chocolate mixture, followed by the cream cheese and top it with the balance chocolate batter. Bake for 45 to 50 mins. Prick the cake with a skewer to test if it is down. Let cool before transferring to a serving dish.
