15 to 20 wonton wraps
Filling
175gm minced chicken (I used Ayamas brand)
7gm spring onions, chopped finely
2 tsp chicken stock (or 1 tbsp hot water mix with 1/4 chicken cube)
3 dash of white pepper powder
1/2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp beaten egg
1 tsp Chinese cooking wine (optional)
salt to taste
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for filling. Stir vigorously. Place 1/4 tsp of filling in a wonton wrapper, apply some water around the edges, and bring the edges together and press. You can check youtube for some ideas. There are many designs there. You can deep fry the wanton and serve with wonton noodles, or just serve with some chilli sauce at the side. The dumplings can also serve in soup.
Keep refrigerated uncooked wonton in the frozen section.
