Golden Chocolate Shortbread









250gm butter at room temp
1 cup castor sugar or icing sugar
½ cup oil
1 cup cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp Belgian cocoa powder
gold dragees
gold glitter


(I used a standard measuring cup)


Preheat oven at 170C
Bake the cookies for 15 to18mins.

Mix butter and sugar well. Then add in vanilla essence and oil. Combine cornstarch, cocoa powder and all-purpose flour. Add the flours bit by bit until well incorporated with the butter mixture.
