380gm soft tofu (mashed finely)
300gm fish fillet
1 medium size onion, chopped fine
1/2 fresh red chillies deseed and chopped fine
a handful of chopped coriander leaves
some thin julienned curry leaves (optional)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder/chilli powder
1 tbsp potato flour
salt to taste
Steam the fish, and mash it with your hand. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. Heat a non-stick pan, add 2 tbsp oil, once slightly hot, add a spoonful of batter in the pan and spread it slightly thin. Leave to cook, after about 3 mins, flip it over and leave to cook for another 3 mins or so. Dish out. Do three cutlets at a time only. Do not overcrowd your pan with batter.
