Tear Drop Cashew Cookies

130g butter
90g castor sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
50g grounded cashewnut
25g cornflour
25g custard flour
160g plain flour

halved cashewnut for decoration
egg yolk for polishing

Cream butter,sugar ,egg yolk and vanilla essence until creamy. Add in dry ingredients and grounded cashewnuts. Mix well into a soft fir dough. Add more flour if needed.
Roll out about 1/4 in thick and cut with a tear drop cutter. Polish with egg yolk and decorate with halved cashew. Polish thecashewwith egg yolk as well. Bake for 10-15mins at 180c. The baking time can vary base on thickness.
