300gm small potatoes
1/4 holland onion, sliced thinly
2 sprigs of spring onion , cut into 1 cm in length
1 tbsp dried prawns, soaked in water for 15mins and drained.
2 fresh red chillies, sliced thinly
1/2 tsp aji no moto
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
salt and sugar to taste
4 small red rose shallots
3 nip garlic
chopped spring onions
Pound the dried prawns coarsely and keep aside.Mix the potatoes with some aji no moto. Semi boil potatoes and dish out,
In a wok, add in 1 cup oil, fry the boiled potatoes until slightly brown and keep aside. Drain the oil leaving behind about 1 tbsp in the wok. Saute the shallot garlic paste until fragrant. Then add in pounded dried prawns and saute further. Once fragrant, throw in potatoes, red chillies, spring onions, onions, and turmeric powder. Mix to combine all ingredients. Add salt and sugar to taste.
Dish out , garnish and serve as a side dish with rice.
