Blue and purple plums ,blueberries and blackberries contain health promoting phytonutrients, which have antioxidant and anti-ageing benefits.

Yellow and orange –fleshed apricots,peaches,nectarines,pineapples,mangoes and oranges – contain significant amounts of vitamin C ,carotenoids and bioflavinoids which help keep our immune systems functioning healthily and minor infections at bay.

Eat red fruits such as strawberries,raspberries,cherries,watermelon,cranberriesand red-skinned grapes for a healthy heart and to reduce the frequency of urinary tract infections .These fruit also contains lycopene, which is believed to be able to prevent certain forms of cancer.

White-fleshed fruit which include the white California peaches and nectarines ,contain phytonutrients which may lower the risk of some cancers.

Green plums, grapes avocadoes, kiwifruit and honeydew promote healthy bones and teeth and may help to prevent certain types of cancer
