Agar-Agar Bread Pudding

Ingredients A
1 packet (10gm) agar-agar powder
125 ml of water
2 tbsp (28gm) butter
90gm melted chocolate
2 food colouring of your choice

Ingredients B
4 white bread (discard the sides)
190 ml evaporated milk
2 medium-size eggs
100gm condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
100gm castor sugar/plain sugar

Blend Ingredients B until smooth. Sieve and keep aside. In a heatproof bowl, mix water with agar powder and simmer gently. Sieve the agar-agar mixture to obtain a smooth mixture. Return back to heat, and mix in Ingredients B until well combined. Close fire. Separate into 3 different bowls (I placed 10 ladlefuls in each bowl, depends on the ladle that you use). In one bowl, stir in melted chocolate and immediately pour onto a baking tin. The other two bowls mix with desired colours and pour each colour starting from the middle. The colour will spread. Use a satay stick to make a marble effect. Keep refrigerated for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes:
Do speed the process of mixing the melted chocolate and pouring onto the pan as it will cuddle fast.
The pudding is not that sweet, however, it suited me well. If you want a sweeter pudding, increase the sugar by 20gm.
This pudding is easy to prepare and had a soft texture.
This recipe is a keeper.
