Butterscotch Shortbreads

This recipe was adapted from Nick Malgieri (http://www.nickmalgieri.com/)
According to Nick substituting brown sugar for white adds a subtle butterscotch flavour to shortbreads.

Therefore this recipe uses brown sugar. However I felt that it was not sweet enough for me therefore I have added  molesses sugar to it. He had used unblanched all purpose flour but as I could not get it ,have substituted with all purpose flour.Even though with all these changes ,the shortbreads came out wonderful. You can get about 30 cookies, depending on the size of the cutter you use.

Note: Two errors which I want to amend on the above scroll: First, its shortbread and not cookies, second ,if you look at No 7 ---its suppose to be cookie cutter and NOT cutter cutter (LOL).Am too lazy to amend the scroll.........
