Jam Swiss Tart



Ingredients

100gm butter
25gm castor sugar
100gm flour
¼ tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt

Topping
2 tbsp grape or strawberry jam

For dusting
2 tbsp icing sugar (optional)

30-35 paper cups


Beat sugar,butter and essence until light and fluffy.Mix in flour and salt and combine well.Use a pump set to pump out dough in paper casing.Bake at preheated oven 180C at about 17 to 20mins.Once cool, add in a drop of jam in the center .Dust with icing sugar before serving .


Tips for the tarts:
Using piping bag , would proof slightly tedious .
A cookie pump set would make the task easier.

The jam will be just in the center even after a few days. So decorate the tarts with jam once you have baked them.
